put it in iphoto (the full size version) and play with the levels
i tried that but was unable to get anything. i didn't see a brightness lever.
make sure you do it with the full size version. when you put it in iphoto, edit the photo, and hit the "adjust" button, and move all the levels things (the slider area above "Exposure") to the right. Sorry. Anticlimactic now.
